How does virtual ground school save me money?
In-person instruction in a running aircraft is the most expensive way to learn aviation theory. By mastering concepts like airspace, weather, and flight planning in a comfortable virtual classroom, you won’t waste valuable (and expensive) flight hours trying to learn them in the cockpit. You’ll show up to your physical flights fully prepared, meaning you’ll need fewer flight hours overall to earn your license.
Do I need any prior aviation experience or equipment to start?
None at all! We start from the absolute basics and all your lessons are personalized. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a webcam, and a quiet place to study. We will guide you on any flight planning tools, charts, or apps as you progress.
Do I have to complete ground school before I start actual flight lessons?
You can do either! Some students prefer to finish ground school first so they feel incredibly confident when they first sit in the cockpit. Others prefer to do ground school and flight lessons simultaneously so they can immediately apply what they learn in the air. We can help you design the training path that works best for you.
