Meet your instructor
I'm Miranda!
I'm Miranda Hinojosa, a Certified Flight Instructor, commercial pilot, and proud mother dedicated to helping others find their path in aviation. I don't just focus on helping students pass a checkride- I focus on building confident, capable, and safety-minded pilots who understand the "why" behind what they're doing.
I take a personalized approach to instruction, meeting each student where they are and creating a structured plan that supports their learning style and long-term goals.
I actively support and guide students, aspiring pilots, and members of my community- especially women and under-represented groups who are looking to break into aviation. Waypoint Aviation is an extension of that mission. It's not just about flight training - it's about providing clarity, structure, and encouragement so that anyone with the drive for aviation can feel confident in taking that first step forward.
